Overcoming Limitations: Breaking Free from Limited Thinking and Unlocking Your Full Potential
Introduction Every human being on earth has a unique role to play in the expansion of the earth. We are all part of a destiny race and have been sent here to fulfil our purpose. Just like God assigned Adam to till the ground of his purpose, vision, and job, each of us has been given a job description. We all have a purpose and destiny to fulfil.
God also assigned the woman a role and impacted her with the capacity to fulfil it through His word. Everyone on earth has a part to play.
[We need to connect the paragraph above to the paragraph below. How forces of limitations came into play and how Adam and Eve were the first to experience it.]
Suggested paragraph: But every great destiny attracts a force called LIMITATION. This force seeks to hinder, block, and prevent individuals from reaching their full potential and fulfilling their God-given destiny.
Adam and Eve were the first to confront forces of limitation that sought to prevent them from transferring their authority to their offspring and to cast them out of a realm where all things work on their own accord into a realm of sweating. The summary of the battle against Adam and Eve was to limit their greatness and prevent them from manifesting to the fullest. However, God unveiled a new and perfect plan to overcome this.
Limitations come in various forms beyond speech impediments and bloodline battles. They can be the inability to fulfil one's purpose, express potential, and broaden one's shoulders. The lack of strength to birth the destiny that one is pregnant with is also a form of limitation. It can take on many forms such as fear, doubt, procrastination, lack of resources, negative thoughts, and external obstacles. Many men have been stopped, and many are being stopped from fulfilling their potential.
However, God has given the power to express destiny to many people in history, and that power is still available to us today.
MEN IN HISTORY
Most of the men in history whose names are written in the sands of time had to fight their way up. They had to overcome physical and spiritual forces that fought to dim their lights. Even when they got to the top, there were forces that sought to shake the seat off their grip and push them backwards. At every point in life, we have a part to play in retaining our position in destiny.
Those who have achieved great success in their lives have done so by recognising these limitations and pushing through them with unwavering determination, unshakable faith, and a relentless work ethic. They have refused to allow limitations to define them, but instead have used them as stepping stones to reach even greater heights.
Some contentions aim to limit and stop the fulfilment of the mandate. In the Bible, each and every great person who crossed into destiny had to fight their way through. Though battles and goals are different, they all had to overcome obstacles and limitations to achieve their goals.
In Luke 12:49-50, Jesus said, "I come to send fire on the earth; and what will I if it is already kindled? But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it is accomplished!" Jesus was focused on accomplishing his purpose and fulfilling his destiny. He was aware of the forces that sought to limit and stop him, and he was determined to overcome them.
Jesus emphasized the importance of being alert and preventing any force of limitation from operating around us. In verse 31, he said that if the strong man of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be destroyed. This is a call to action for us to be vigilant and proactive in protecting our destiny.
The battle fought to limit the impact of Jesus was different from that of Elijah, Moses, and other great destinies. However, every great destiny that has walked the face of the earth has faced its own unique battles and limitations. The key to success is to be aware of these limitations, confront them, and overcome them with unwavering determination, faith, and hard work.
Zerubabbel: The Case Study
In the Bible, there is a man named Zerubabbel whose story is an eye-opener. The Lord intentionally mentioned his name to help us understand the power of limitation and how to overcome it.
Zerubabbel was a governor, and he had a prophecy on him to build the temple of the Lord. God referred to him as His “signet”, and many great things were said about Zerubabbel by different prophets. But his prophecy and God's promises over him were contended by bloodline battles, becoming a significant limitation and obstacle to him.
However, God visited him, made a declaration on him, and taught him the techniques required to overcome his limitation and put his handwriting on the earth so that history would not be complete without the story of this great man. Zerubbabel's name was written in history as a man who broke the limit with God's help.
Just like Zerubbabel, no matter what your impediments are, you can overcome them. God can mentor you out of the battle that wants to dim your light and limit your impact.
It is evident that God has you and countless others at heart when He said to write this book. Please read it with an open mind and be ready! It is your time for a limitless breakthrough destiny.
Impediments and Family Traits Limitations are restrictions, barriers, or boundaries that hinder a person from reaching their goals or living life to the fullest. They can arise from internal or external factors such as lack of knowledge, resources, skills, fears, beliefs, or uncontrollable circumstances. For instance, a fear of public speaking can prevent someone from pursuing a career as a public speaker, while a lack of financial resources can limit someone's ability to start a business or further their education.
In some cases, limitations can be a generational curse that keeps individuals trapped in a cycle of restriction. Identifying and overcoming these limitations is crucial for personal growth and development, requiring reflection, learning, and taking action to expand our capabilities and opportunities.
Building the capacity to overcome limitations is possible as we rise up to the challenge. The first step to healing is to acknowledge the problem, identify its root cause, and take action to address it.
This book provides practical physical, spiritual, and mental guidance to overcome all forms of limitations and impediments. It is a total book for the total man, offering a holistic approach to personal and spiritual growth and development.
BLOODLINE LIMITATIONS: OVERCOMING INHERITED OBSTACLES Limitations come in various forms, and one of the most significant is bloodline limitations. These are the obstacles that are inherited from our family lineage, which can hinder our progress and destiny fulfilment.
To better understand this concept, we will look into the story of Zerubbabel, a prominent biblical character who faced bloodline limitations. Zerubbabel was a prince and governor, chosen by God to rebuild the temple that had been destroyed. Despite his expertise and divine mandate, he faced constant resistance and frustration that hindered his progress for over 40 years.
Zerubbabel's family traits reflected on him, and he was unable to break free from the limitations of his bloodline until God visited him. Through divine intervention, Zerubbabel was empowered and taught the techniques to overcome his inherited obstacles. God declared His power and grace to finish the project, and Zerubbabel's destiny was fulfilled.
If you are facing bloodline limitations, it is essential to recognize that you have the power to overcome them. By seeking divine intervention and learning the necessary techniques, you can break free from the limitations of your family lineage and fulfill your destiny. This book will provide you with practical and spiritual guidance to help you overcome all forms of limitations and achieve limitless breakthroughs.
Zechariah 4:7-9 "Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. Moreover, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you."
There are battles that will not go until a divine force is engaged. God had to declare His word, which is sharper than any two-edged sword, to penetrate Zerubbabel's situation. The declaration was that: – The great mountain becomes plain. – His hand should finish what he started.
Who is Zerubbabel? In every family, there are unique traits that are passed down from one generation to another. There are traits and battles traced down to generations past. Zerubbabel fought such battles and won with God's help.
Zechariah 4:6 "Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts."
Zerubbabel, the governor, was a man of passion, tenacity, and determination. God said concerning Zerubabbel:
Haggai 2:2A "Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah."
He was ready to build for the Lord. He gathered all the ready men around him together in readiness to build but discovered that there was a battle against his ability to fulfil the prophecies on him.
The Lord had spoken to Cyrus the King in Isaiah 45 to build, and Cyrus commissioned governors to see to the fulfilment of the work. Zerubbabel started but could not finish till the first, second, and third limbs were through. He could not finish the building of the temple.
Ezra 4:3-6: "But Zerubbabel, and Joshua, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel, said unto them, Ye have nothing to do with us to build an house unto our God; but we ourselves together will build unto the LORD God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia hath commanded us.Then the people of the land weakened the hands of the people of Judah, troubled them in building, and hired counsellors against them, to frustrate their purpose, all the days of Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius king of Persia. And in the reign of Ahasuerus, at the beginning of his reign, wrote they unto him an accusation against the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem."
The purpose is the enemy's target.
Zerubbabel was one of the men who vowed to see the work of the Lord stand, but he discovered that the more he tried, the more opposition he faced, including strange rumours.
The enemy intentionally spread strange rumours against all attempts to build, making them abortive. All the men who should have risen with him got discouraged by the constant rumours and strange news ongoing against the work that Zerubbabel wanted to build.
Strange rumour is a major weapon in the hand of the wicked. It is one of the worst battles that can be used to fight a man. Such a battle molests one's personality, identity, and testimony. It rubbishes one's efforts and turns one's testimony to decay. It's a molestation of one's personality and whatever one stands for, and it uses everyone around that should understand to misunderstand, and until God intervenes, even one's defence and smile can be used against them.
I fought this battle for years; it was a major tool used against me but for the Lord's intervention.
If you have ever been accused of so
