Exodus 15

Exodus 15:21-22 And Miriam sang to them: “Sing to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.” Then Moses made Israel set out from the Red Sea, and they went into the wilderness of Shur. They went for three days in the wilderness and found no water.

Life’s journey is marked by seasons of victory, triumph, and sometimes, adversity and challenges.

The song of victory in Exodus 15:21, by Miriam and the women, marked a glorious moment of deliverance from the perilous Red Sea. The miraculous parting of the sea was a testament to God's intervention.

However, as their journey continued, they encountered a new challenge— a season of ‘thirst’. They were thirsty, but the only source they found was undrinkable due to its bitterness.

Exodus 15:23-25 When they came to Marah, they could not drink the water of Marah because it was bitter; therefore it was named Marah. And the people grumbled against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” And he cried to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a log, and he threw it into the water, and the water became sweet. There the LORD made for them a statute and a rule, and there he tested them.

The same God that parted the Red Sea have the capacity to easily healed the sick water.

Have you found yourself in a season that seems more challenging than the previous one and you need God's intervention?

Have you found yourself in a stagnant state where you know that except by intervention, things might go from bad to worse?

Is your marriage, or relationship challenged and you are wondering how to go about this needed miracle?

It is water, you are camping by it but it is bitter. It has an element in it that could harm you. It has things in it stopping you from eating the miracle in it.

I pray for a touch from God today, in Jesus’ name. [AMEN]

Are you faced with the inability to pick the only one that is available because of its bitter state?

You know if God will not intervene, heal this present one or give you a new one, you can not manage the situation.

A long time ago, a sister was about to make a marital decision at one time and as she prayed, the Lord said the brother whose name you mentioned now is called “Marah”, and asked her to sing a song. The song says, “Lord my father, help me not to take a regrettable step that will make me bite my finger in regret.”

She prayed and we asked the Lord if there was bitterness in this brother. “Are you healing him like you healed the pool of Marah or she should rise by the strength of the Lord and move forward into another miracle?”

We need to know if this man will be touched by the Lord or if there is another plan for her. So she will not pitch her tent around the heavenly-looking relationship that will not yield to her.

Thank God for divine direction.

I don't know what your Marah is right now; it can be a marriage that's gone sour or it can be a state of life where you know that nothing good is possible except by the word of the Lord.

Yours can be your business or ministry. You know the calling has gone sour and the word of the Lord is needed to heal it!

Let the word of God enter into that situation to undo the work of darkness in Jesus' name.

Friends, just like Moses, we must rise in faith and power to undo the work of darkness and restore God to the situation.

As a leader, a father, and a prophet, Moses arose to call on the Lord and he was answered.

I want you to rise for yourself and for those that God has given to you.

My people must testify – my friend, my sister, and my brother – mention their names and call them to testify. Each one of them must begin to drink from the water of divine provision, and everyone should be met at the point of their needs.

Father, let my people be met at the point of their needs in Jesus' name.

The Bible says the Lord opened the eyes of Moses to see the tree that he threw into the water and he was healed. Let your eyes be opened to see the solution to your miracle in Jesus' name.

Let your life-changing word come and let your situation be sweetened in the name of Jesus Christ.

Exodus 15:25 And he cried to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a log, and he threw it into the water, and the water became sweet. There the LORD made for them a statute and a rule, and there he tested them.

SEASON OF SURPLUS Exodus 15:27 And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters.

The significance of wells in those days was wealth and abundance. God gave them 12 at the same time so that each tribe might have sufficient water to drink and wash. The significance of water is beyond the physical. Even God said, “Come to the waters.”

This is to let us see that God is in every season of our lives. From the seasons of abundance and surplus to the challenging seasons, our eyes should be on God in every season to help us scale through life.

Let everyone going through dry seasons receive the water of life, in Jesus’ name. Be watered physically and spiritually. Your season is changing in Jesus’ name.

The second thing that they came in contact with in their new seasons was palm trees. Every part of the palm is useful. Fruits are significant and they represent harvests and fruitfulness.

Prayer * Let the word of the Lord enter into my life and my situation to sweeten it, in the name of Jesus.

* Father in the name of Jesus Christ, let there be light upon me, in Jesus’ name.

* Let your word penetrate every aspect of my life to sweeten me, in Jesus' name.

We go through stages in life and God is the key to the testimony at each stage of our lives. I pray that your door is opened now, and let the sweetness of the Holy Spirit, the salt of God's word be released into that bitter marriage, finance, life, and decision-making, the unfavourable situation in you in Jesus' name.

Ride on the wings of the Father through the journey of life in the name of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah.
