Drawing from the River of Life
John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
In the conversation between Jesus and the woman at the well, He said if she truly understood His identity, she could have asked, and He would have given her the river of life so that she would thirst no more.
God was willing to satisfy her quest and thirst so that she would stop searching for fulfilment in the wrong places.
Many of us are searching the wrong places for what we can only find in God. The woman at the well was searching for it in human relationships, believing that her spouse would have it. Yet, she had been through five marriages and was still unfulfilled, still unable to find her heart desires.
All human satisfaction satisfactions can be met in God; don't give up easily before you fetch yours.
God knows how to satisfy the insatiable needs of humanity.
No matter what your needs are, they’ve all been made ready in Jesus.
Quit searching for what does not satisfy. You are sweating, and toiling and the wrong decision is taking too much from you. You know you need freedom from that newfound adventure, and to retrace your steps back to the peace of Jesus.
With open arms, Jesus is waiting to welcome you back!
Everything is made ready in Jesus, come to Him to gain access to your portion.
Isaiah 53:6 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes, we are healed.
He bled in the head to restore your headship. He sweated blood to heal to labour. He bled in the hand to heal your work that your touch might be healed and no more fruitless labour. He bled for you so that you or others around you will not have to die in other to make it in life, by his stripes, we were held.
Please come to Jesus now and take all that has been made ready for you in him.
If you are yet to accept Jesus into your life today, please yield unto Him today. Say with me Jesus, come into my heart as my personal Lord and Saviour, I surrender my life to you, let your light and life preserve me from today, in Jesus' name. [AMEN]
